The BUN is back and the HIGH BUN is really back

So this is a great high fashion up do with the right dress.  Now if you do a high bun with some jeans and a cute top it might look like you just threw your hair up.  My friend just brought to my attention that you will see celebrities in casual wear with a high bun shopping on Rodeo.  Now what I am saying is they better not wear that same look to the Academy Awards in the same week.  We can often cheapen a look with over wearing it.   If you're a hairdresser and you do it in 10 minutes on your way to work and you walk in with no make up, it will be hard to sell that look to a client for a $120.  So choose the right time and outfit to wear this look.  Now for clients and hairdressers alike lets talk price on this high bun.  If you have an event to go to and you need to see your hairdresser and it only takes them 15 minutes to set this great high bun, is it still ok that they charge you $85 to $120 for this look?  I say yes it is, the look will last you all night and the compliments will be endless.  Reason being you are not just paying for the time they spent putting your hair up, you are paying for there expertise and fashion knowledge, they are going to place that bun in the right place for your face shape.  Bottom line you're going to look amazing and it will last the night.

So I say go out and get your high bun on!  But just remember dont over wear it and dont play it down because if you wear it the gym you should not wear it at your next hight fashion event!
